Thessalonians Header1--2-Thessalonians borderedOn Thursday, October 20 at noon Central Time, join us on campus or via Zoom for a special book event celebrating the release of President Molly T. Marshall's 1 & 2 Thessalonians: A Theological Commentary on the Bible, part of Westminster John Knox's Belief series.

The event will feature a discussion and Q&A with President Marshall, as well as remarks from special guest Rev. Dr. Shively Smith (Boston University). Drs. Marshall and Smith will discuss the ways the letters to the Thessalonians raise questions, ideas, and obligations that remain relevant today, such as: How should we consider the nature of the parousia in our time? What are our obligations to one another as followers of Jesus? How do we learn to trust the truth of the gospel?

A reception will follow for in-person attendees.
