The Theology of Prince is a project that grew out of a conversation about the sorts of topics United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities is willing to tackle. This conversation led to two contests -- one for students and one open to the public -- to which participants submitted personal essays, academic papers, poetry, video and visual art that explored "the influence of religion, theology and/or spirituality within Prince's work." These works were shared in a panel at the "Prince from Minneapolis" symposium, in an online gallery, and now through an electronic journal.
